Tour Highlights
This tour takes you to three important local religious and historical sites:
Laodikya – once home to a large Jewish community and one of the Seven Churches of Asia in the Book of Revelation.
Aphrodisias – named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and once a famous school of marble sculpture;
and The World Heritage-listed site of Hierapolis which was an ancient Roman spa town and Pamukkale’s famous white travertines (calcium pools)
Program
08:30 Pick up from your Pamukkale or Karahayit hotel and drive to Laodikya.
Tour of Laodikya including:
Drive to Aphrodisias.
Arrive at Aphrodisias and start our tour which includes:
Open Buffet lunch then drive to Pamukkale.
Arrive in Pamukkale and commence tour of Hierapolis and the Travertines which includes:
18:00 Tour ends – drop back to your hotel.
