This tour takes you to three important local sites:
Laodikya – once home to a large Jewish community and one of the Seven Churches of Asia in the Book of Revelation;
Aphrodisias – named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and once a famous school of marble sculpture; and
Kaklik Caves – formed over 2.5 million years ago, the caves are full of travertine waters, stalagmites, stalactites and a large quantity of sulphur. Inside you will see several rimstone pools and waterfalls.
Program
08:30 Pick up from your Pamukkale or Karahayit hotel and drive to Laodikya.
Tour of Laodikya including:
Drive to Aphrodisias.
Arrive at Aphrodisias and start our tour which includes:
Open Buffet lunch then drive to Kaklik Caves
Visit Kaklik Caves
Tour ends – drop back to hotel.
