Day 1:
Arrive in Istanbul & transfer to Hotel. On arrival at your hotel you will meet your tour guide, who will share a welcome drink & tour information with you. Then enjoy a free afternoon to wander Istanbul or rest in the hotel.
Night in Istanbul.
Day 2 & 3 :
08:00 departure to Eceabat / Gallipoli, approx. 5 hrs driveLunch stop in Eceabat harbour & free afternoon. 8.00pm depart for ANZAC cove, spend the night in Anzac cove (sleeping bag, clear plastic tarp, hot thermos for tea & coffee & breakfast supplied). Dawn service will begin approx. 5.30am. After dawn service take normal shuttle service to either Australian, New Zealand or Turkish National Services (Service times yet to be released)Approx1.30pm departure from Aus. service exit gate, cross the Dardanelles and have lunch in CanakkaleAfter lunch travel approx. 1 hr. to Assos. Go back in time in this village of hand-built houses. All the houses are made from rocks of the mountain. A gorgeous harbour setting sees you eating your evening meals in front of spectacular sunsets. Night in Assos.(Breakfast x 2, Lunch x 2, Dinner x 2)
Day 4:
Morning visit to the city ruins of Troy, made known from Homer’s tale of the war of Troy. Climb inside the replica wooden Trojan horse and wander through the city wallsAfter lunch a free afternoon in relaxing Assos.
Night in Assos. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 6:
OPTION: Before sunrise enjoy a fabulous 1 hour hot air balloon ride over the top of the amazing landscape of Cappadocia. Enjoy champagne on landing. Dept 5am-8am. 10am Departure for private full day tour of Cappadocia, where you can wander through the desert, surrounded on every side by cave houses dug by hand in the natural rock formations that form the magical landscape. This is a place where your imagination can run free. We will visit places such as Pasabag, Derinkuyu Underground City, extending 8 levels below the ground and carved out of volcanic rock and more of Cappadocia &Goreme Open Air Museum where you will be amazed by the churches cut into the rocks with their amazing frescoes. This evening we enjoy dinner, local drinks and a Turkish Cultural show which includes a lively dance performance. Night in Cappadocia. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7:
Free day to wander around Cappadocia region, experience the local peoples lifestyleThere are many interesting shops that sell local handicrafts that have been made for generationsDepart 5pm to Nevsehir Airport for 7pm flight to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul 8pm. Night in Istanbul. (Breakfast)
Day 8:
Free morning & transfer to airport for flight to Egypt. (Breakfast)
